25th anniversary
25 years....., 25 years that our Rebecq Ladies Trophy was born under impulsion of Hugo Batteauw, Tennisland founder.
25 years where our unique goal was to promote the ladies high level tennis competition .
And for our 25th édition, thanks to the support of our main sponsor and all our partners, the Rebecq Ladies Trophy will be for the first time a 25000$ prize-money tournament.
The international level and the players quality will be even better .
The "Rebecq Ladies Trophy is an international tournament for the world tennis jong ladies hope, and is one of the major tennis event in Wallonia.
During the tournament, the players may win WTA points, allowing them to ameliorate their worldwide classification.
Until now, not less than 18 players having participated in the Rebecq Ladies Trophy set up one day in worldwide top 100nos belges Justine Henin, Kim Clijsters, Yanina Wickmayer, Els Callens, Dominique Monami, Sabine Appelmans, Caroline Maes, Laurence Courtois, Stephanie Deville, Nancy Feber, mais aussi Amélie Mauresmo (FRA), Anna Kournikova (RUS), Nathalie Dechy (FRA), Sarah Pitkowski (FRA), Irena Spirlea (ROM), Ruxandra Dragomir (ROM), Elena Makarova (CEl), Elena Ukhovtseva (CEl), Mariana Diaz-Oliva (ARG)… Pas moins de 15 participantes ont fait partie du top 100 mondial.
This tournament is supported financially , for several years, by the Communal Administration of Rebecq and the Ministry of Sports of theBelgium French Community and for the second time with the support from BNP PARIBAS FORTIS.
